The experience of growing up in a forest, my current local forest walks for exercise and peace of mind, my support of the Sierra Club and Tree People all influenced the main theme of my Artist Book, which is an imaginary adventure in acrylic paint and collage that connects two significant cities through nature and their commonalities. Geography, architecture, unique highways, figurative sculpture, athletic endeavors, and healthy forests are among the many features both LA and ROMA celebrate. This work was created for the exhibition, “An International Vision, Homage to H.C. Andersen,” in Rome, Italy.
